This would mean new opportunities to live, work and play, an extension of the city to the Greater southern Waterfront. With its ideal location, you could also take a short 10 mins drive to the Marina Bay Area or the Orchard Road Shopping Belt. The National University School (NUS) is also very convenient with a short walk. For leisure, one could also take a short drive to the West Coast Park or the Kent Ridge Park for a short stroll or enjoy some family time. This location its well connected with the major expressways; AYE, ECP and MCE. There is an abundance of tenant pool from the One North, Science Parks, NUH and NUS.
24 One Residences Review
We were given an opportunity to be invited to the 24 One Residences showflat to view the quality furnished by the developer. The location is really attractive with it being within 500m to the nearest Haw Par Villa MRT. It is also next to the Haw Par Villa where there is a very nice Dim Sum place. The Science Park and NUS is also in close proximity, which staying here is very convenient for families with children. Residents who would like to do their market shopping can get to the West Coast Wholesale market for anything from dry goods, vegetable to fruits, all under one roof. Riding on the MRT can easily get you down to The Vivocity or a bus to West Coast Plaza, where there are abundance of amenities, eateries and supermarket shopping.
We initially were worried that the location might be too far off from the usual matured estates like; Clementi, Bukit Timah or Redhill, but we were proven wrong. With the Haw Par Villa MRT, it made getting around easy and it is a street down by Bus to the Maple Tree Business District in Alexandra and straight to the Marina Bay Financial Centre. Travelling around is just a breeze.
The furnishes took us even to another level of living, with quality furnishes provided; some of which is like the Tekka Fridge and Tekka Washer and Dryer. All Units were provided with natrual marble in the common areas and engineered timber in all rooms, which is a rare for many developments in this market. The 3 bedroom is beautifully designed with the open and close concept kitchen style. The small balcony is linked by both the living room and dinning room, which also allows good flow of air out of the unit after cooking. One aspect of the kitchen which we were not too excited was the cylinder gas, but having to know that the private landed estate is not gas piped makes us feel that this is acceptable.
Overall, I would recommend buyers to consider this development due to the fact that it is a Freehold estate which is at approximately $1,7xx psf. It might not sound like a premium estate, but am confident with the Greater Southern Waterfront City extension and the close proximity to District 01, the up and coming district with waterfront city, we are confident that 24 One Residences is a development one cannot miss
